Last year the blower for the rear of the van went. You turn it on and it makes an awful noise. We never fixed it. It wasn't that big of a problem as long as we had the front heater. This summer the front heater started to only work on the high setting. I changed out the blower resister and it worked when I first turned it on but was very weak. It now only works(very weakly) when the car is moving. I took it into the local dealership today and got the bad news. A little over $100 for a new blower motor, but $400 for the labor! They said they would have to almost completely take the dash apart to get to it. Anyone had this fixed or fixed it yourselves? This is the second thing that when wrong this year. The first was the coolant lines for the rear of the van corroded and needed to be replaced. That was around $400. I'm ready to trade this hunk of !@#$#@% in.

Looking for a website that I can go to, to find out the physical location of the front heater blower and a site with step by step instructions on replacing the motor myself. I will try to find the part at my local pick-a-part to save money but need to find the physical location and possibly some instructions before I start the project. If anyone has any suggestions please comment because going to the dealer is not an option because I know they will charge me way more than what it is worth to fix it.
