Similar problem to one already mentioned: Attempted to start and got the old "click,click,click". Everything else worked fine. Had the battery and ingition checked and everything was tip-top. On Diagnostics, I was informed that the PCM was shot. Our mechanic stated that in the past month, he has had to replace 3 other Caravan PCMs. 1 in a 2005, and 2 in other 2003s. He also stated that according to Dealer specs, BOTH 2003's had the wrong PCM installed to begin with! Wonder if mine is gonna be #3??

With both my wife and I working, being dropped back to one car is gonna be a pain.....I have been given an "estimate" for the work, by my mechanic. This ain't gonna be cheap! Wonder if Dodge will help IF my van was installed with the wrong unit, too???

On July 16, 2009, our van would not start, however all the lights on the dash came on. Towed it to the dealer, dealer would not touch it until we replaced the battery. After replacing the battery, the diagnosis was a faulty PCM. We Left the dealer and within 4 days it was back in the dealer, as the fan blowers did not work. They replaced the blower motor relay. Left the vehicle at the dealer until return from vacation on Aug. 2, and picked up the van n Aug. 5 and the service engine light was now on. Returned it to the dealer. Now they are stating that the first PCM was again replaced as the dealer stated the first one must have been defective. Additionally they replaced the catalytic converter, and the exhaust manifold gasket. However, they stated that the PCM would continue to fail if the two following modules were not replaced: The Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) and the Front Control Module (FCM). Since all of this the van now just sits until we can come up with more money to have it fixed! What do you say?

Car died after driving it maybe 10 min. Won't start not even turn over. Finally paid to have it towed, next morning it tried to turn over and clicked like the battery was dead. Boosted it with truck, started immediately and died immediately. Then back to not even turning over. Windows, inside lights, radio, all works just won't turn over. Also have noticed if the alarm is set off by opening a door the lights flash but horn does not sound. If you push the panic button everything works, lights and horn.
