Cracks in roof under plastic molding in body assembly, which was not covered after 36,000 miles, denied by Dodge but some assistance from dealer after yelling, caused water leakage into right pillar assembly, floor compartment and unknowing to us sub carpeting. Our worries are structural safety, mold and odor possibly electrical wiring and if there are more in roof that we don't know about, and on added note premature disc brake wear rotors and pads date is approximate have to look up service record, dealer greenfield Dodge lawrenceville

Premature front brake failure-- we purchased our 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan new, in late spring 2004. Since then, we have had to replace the front brakes twice, once at 18,000 miles, and now at 35,000 miles. Our driving habits have not changed and previously (for the last 25 years, with 5 different cars) we have gone 30,000 - 40,000 miles between brake jobs. This vehicle replaced a 10-year old Plymouth Grand Voyager which had no problems with brake wear. The dealer service manager says he has seen 2005 Grand Caravan coming in needing brake jobs at about 25,000 miles, but not 18,000 miles. Yet, neither the dealer nor Chrysler admits that there is a system or component problem. I spoke with Chrysler customer service and they were, at best, reluctantly helpful. They have agreed to pay for the parts, but not the labor. So, I have now had to pay, in part, for front brake jobs twice in less than 3 years, averaging less than 18,000 miles between the repairs. This is totally unacceptable. Needless to say, if Chrysler doesn't do something else to remedy this situation, this will be the last Chrysler product I will own...and I will not be keeping this minivan much longer.

First noticed popping/rubbing noise in front end. Took in and they replaced the front stabilizer bushings and etc.. that was in Oct 2005. I have taken back to wilson Dodge in jackson, ms 3/4 times since. The problem still exist. The service man said he hear noise when turning 1/4 to right. But when I went to pick up vehicle they had not done anything to it. I have a friend that's a mechanic. He said the rack and pinion system is going out and is bad. I have stated this to wilson Dodge. They wanted me to sign the last paper work but I would not sign because they had not fixed problem. I am taking to other Dodge dealer ship this week to see if they can find problem. Also I had to replace the brakes already at 26,000 miles. And they said I needed new rotors. This is ridiculous. I had a 1998 Dodge Caravan and only had to replace brakes once on it and it had 98,000 miles on it.

My Dodge Grand Caravan 2005 was bought used at boniface-hiers at merritt island Florida in March 2005. I've had brake problems since. The dealers repair shop foreman had someone look at it in April 2005: Said he did me a favor; there is no warranty. Brakes shake and ABS doesn't work. Brakes also lock. Dangerous. I traveled to Maine for the summer. Many close calls. On 11-20-05, after being told verbally that brakes are not warranty item, I sent a complaint card. Today, I'm going to boniface-hiers[Monday] and a daimler-Chrysler rep is supposed to look into the defects.
