The plastic housing on the radiator cracked, and needed to be replaced.. Luckily, I'm a fairly good hack at fixing vehicles, but the repair was somewhat painful and annoying at times, trying to get the fan housing removed before being able to remove the radiator. But, the crux of this complaint, is that we have hit nothing to cause the housing to crack and need replacing. Seems to me that the manufacturer would use better materials than plastic on a radiator, so that these cracks won't just happen out of the blue. My wife swore she didn't hit anything to crack it, and I told her, where the crack was at, she'd have had to have a front end collision in order to cause that crack. I took it to a mechanic, to see where the leak was with his tester, and once it was located, he could explain why it had occurred.

Bottom line here, the radiator was replaced, the leak stopped and I'm left to wonder why the side plastic cracked in the first place.
