Grand Caravan

  • Automatic transmission

I thought the bulbs needed to be changed but did not help. I think the problem is deeper but have no clue. I've been unable to use overhead map lights for 3 months! Will check with my mechanic.

Grand Caravan 3.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 129,000 miles

I have the same issue with the headlamp above the driver passenger seats. When I bought the vehicle used I thought it just needed new bulbs, but no. It obviously was a wiring issue. The wires had been ripped out and there where black marks all over the plastic shroud for the bulbs to fit into. Still have no idea what to do. I am afraid to put new wiring harness in. I don't want another fire hazard.

Grand Caravan SXT 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 89,000 miles

Bought a 2007 Dodge Caravan SXT the overhead map light keep blowing out and melting and it is almost impossible to get it out. You are afraid to touch it for fear of getting shock. When you do, the bulb blows and melts. This is really dangerous. If anyone else is having this problem you need to complain also.
