while under warranty i had to have my outer tie rods replaced at about 25000 miles. now out of warranty, they need to be replaced again at 49000. also replaced was the driver's seat skirt and window trim. we also had to have the rear evaporator replaced (under extended warranty due to this being such a common problem). the sway bars were replaced. the power steering pump is going. the trim is falling off the passenger window like it did on the driver's side. the driver side sliding door only opens about a foot and must be opened the rest of the way by hand... chrysler should be ashamed for even putting such a piece of junk on the road, and at the bargain price of $25,000.

my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan has a problem. the tie rods are shot causing the wheels to go in different directions. it started about at 98,000 miles ago. i went to the dealership and they told me that the shakiness was due to the tire. they said the tire's belts are shifted. so i went to sears {where i brought the tires from} they checked out and the tires were fine.they noticed the tie rods are shot. the quotes for parts and labor over $700, which I can't afford at the time being. It is a big disappointment that a 3 year old vehicle is encountering such a big problem already. It was also disappointing that the dealership didn't even bother to check out the vehicle or "look into" the problem. We started to buy American vehicles recently due to helping out ourselves, the American people (economically). Right now, knowing that there is a chance of my caravan going wrong, I still am using because it is my only vehicle. Hopefully, there will be a recall on this issue soon, since I've been hearing quite a few others with the same problems.
