Took van in to dealer said fob won't come out of ignition, can't shut it off, engine not running , but key still on had a recall on fob. Later on that day got a call from dealer to let me know the parts were in. Told him van was there. This was on Aug.6 2015 Thursday, I said I will call you on Monday to pick the van up. The service rep. said ok.
Call Monday to see if van was ready and was told I needed to replace the TIPM cause they couldn't get the van to work absolutely nothing came on they replaced the recall fob but now the van doesn't turn on. I called my mechanic and he say's that's not right. So I had service writer call him anyway to make a long story short after fighting with them I had to pay $959.62 to get my perfectly running van back. Then to be told the radio doesn't work. They did fix it. Then was told my battery wasn't working good, which I went to mechanic (mine), It's only been installed for 12 months. What I think happened, but have no proof is they drove my van into service bay and could not get the fob out and left it on acc. till Monday. I had a perfectly good running van until I took it in for the recall. After fighting with them I finally got my van back on Aug. 11

Bought this junk in Sept. 2014. Ignition key has been a problem since day one. Used car dealer won't do a thing about it. Talked to Dodge customer service rep. They say the part is on back order and they will notify me upon its availability. That was six months ago. Have not yet been notified. Meanwhile, it's put your little finger in the hole and wriggle it around to get the key to go in. And, crank the vehicle back up, pull up a little, cut it off again and maybe, just maybe, the key might finally come out of the ignition. Maybe I should have said, it really is "a pain in the ass."
