our automatic doors have a serious problem. our passenger side automatic door has been fixed several times but breaks again a few days later. the driver's side is still going but some days it doesn't work. and when you do try and open it (the passenger side) it makes this stalling sound until you manually open it. looking to trade it in.

I have never in my entire life had a vehicle with so many problems! I will never buy another Dodge!

When the car is running, the dash board lights (seat-belt warning light and chime, plus all of the other warning lights) appear, blink while the windshield wipers go back and forth. This usually happens when the car is in park, but it also happens while driving. The sliding doors and the hatch back sometimes when asked, open just a little and then close on their own. The dealer, what can I say, they are working on it. It's been in the shop three times, and the problem persists. Any one else have this problem? More imprtantly - does any one have a solution?

The left passenger door closes and re-opens as you walk away.
I push the button on the side to close the door it acts as though it is closing and then pulls back. I have pushed the button and then walked away only to come back with the door open. I am not senile and I am very conscientious of what is going on. This has happened twice to me and once to my husband when it was open all night in our driveway. This doesn't happen anymore because now we wait and watch it before we go. It is in the shop let's see what they say.
Update from Jul 10, 2009: Easy fix they just re-set the sensor.

This has been an ongoing problem with the side doors opening up by themselves. This is really annoying because we will go into a grocery store or a movie theater for instance and when we come out either one or both of our side doors will be wide open. We have been very fortunate to not have had anything stolen from the van! One problem that should be fixed is when the van is locked you can hit the door button on the remote and it will open the doors. However, a person should have to hit the unlock button first and then the door button. We will keep the key/remote out of our pockets and purse and it will still do this sometimes. Therefore, it is not always us hitting the buttons by mistake. Maybe it is a signal interference.

Less than a week after getting the van back from the shop for the transmission, the left rear passenger door mysteriously started to open by itself. It did it again twice the next day. Finally, my husband was driving it on interstate 95 when it opened again. At that point it went to a dealership to be appraised (and it did it right there in the lot).
The van was sold right away. I'm not risking the life of my child with a door coming open at 70 miles an hour and I don't trust any more fixes on this car.
