Grand Caravan 6-cyl

  • 128,000 miles
The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. While driving, the brakes would erroneously activate and caused the vehicle to abruptly slow down. The vehicle was taken to dothan Dodge(4074 ross clark cir, dothan, al) where it was diagnosed that the clockspring was faulty and needed to be repaired. The brake failure was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 128,000. Consumer stated brakes will lock down 80% daily and will accerlate after releasing the brakes which causes excessive pad wear. This also causes A/C to shutdown.
