Grand Caravan 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 174,000 miles

We were stopped at a stop sign, and (we're guessing the transmission) made an unusual, slight grind/vibration, to me it seemed like the engine, but with all of the transmission problems we have been having, the transmission is probably the culprit.

Grand Caravan SXT 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 160,000 miles

Whenever shifting gears, the vehicle VIOLENTLY shakes!! Especially in reverse! This summer it also kept slipping into 1st gear, which has stopped all of a sudden! This is very scary, especially when it shakes so much it begins to jerk back and forth!

Grand Caravan ES 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

Read all of the other Dodge Grand Caravan complaints, and it doesn't look good for me. I used to swear by Dodge, but this vehicle has been no end to my pain and suffering. There is absolutely no reason this problem should be occurring at 55,000 miles. I have done everything to troubleshoot the problem in an effort to avoid the inevitable transmission failure. I have not had good experiences with Dodge dealerships, as is the common trend. I will NEVER buy another Dodge. Worthless vehicle, worthless customer service, worthless sales practices, worthless warranties - I could go on and on. Next time there's an economic crisis, I hope President Obama lets Dodge fall back into the pits of hell from whence it came.
