I backed out of the driveway, stopped, put the vehicle in drive, and proceeded forward. As I began to accelerate the vehicle shook violently and then smoothed out. The problem was definitely in the transmission. It should not have occurred. I took it to the dealer and they could not find anything wrong and since it quit occurring they said not to worry about it. The van now has 45,000 miles on it and it has not happened again but it makes you wonder.
