When they replaced the ignition switch due to a recall, the key broke a few weeks later. The dealership refused to replace the key and told us it would cost $400. Due to this we only have one key and if it is lost we are up a creek.

Keys did not work a few months after buying the van. BOTH??? Almost at the same time. Had to go 3 times to the dealer to convince them that the keys were not working. At first it was only once every 3 press... Not enough to change them. Then 1 every 2 press did not work... still not enough. Finally, stoped working completely... Ahh now we were worthy of new keys. After 20+ visits to Dodge dealerships in 3 years, I can say that they really care... Its all about people. People being there for people.

I am a disabled person with SEVERE BACK PROBLEMS, I was going to the doctor and stopped for gas went into to pay for the gas and when I went back out the van would NOT unlock. I had to walk 1 1/2 miles home to call for help (spare key was in my purse which was locked in van as was my cell phone) I called a Chrysler dealer (my husband called for me after I got home from his work cell phone he was at work) who informed me that they would not do ANYTHING for me told my husband to call our insurance company to see if we have tow truck coverage on our policy. I have not driven an AMERICAN made car in years but when we had a severe accident in our HONDA ODYSSEY I was to afraid to purchase another Odyssey so I bought a DODGE Grand Caravan instead. Well after 2 weeks I had to have my rotors turned and now this. I have owned this van for seven (7) months and am already looking to sell it and go back to a HONDA. It concerns me when a manufacture refuses to help a customer. I did not buy this van at a dealership I purchased it at CARMAX because they gave me a better deal, but they even refused to help. Today I am having SEVERE PAIN due to my walk yesterday (which I am NOT supposed to walk this far orders from my Doctor). I am getting rid of this problem van as soon as I can. No wonder AMERICAN car companies are in trouble they do not back up their problem autos. I will tell everyone I know NOT to purchase a DODGE or any other AMERICAN made car. They do not CARE about their CUSTOMERS.
