This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Dodge dealer.
In September 2010 we noticed that our 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan sliding doors were rubbing against the exterior wheel wells damaging the paint. We contacted our local (not selling) dealership who said that this was a well known problem, that there was a shim kit to repair the issue but that it was on back order. After A LOT of run around from this dealer we ended up contacting our selling dealership (the reason why we were using them is because they are a fair distance away from where we live) Our selling dealership said that there was no shim kit but that they could adjust the doors to fix this problem. We drove to that dealership and they did indeed adjust the doors. They also buffed out the scuffing on our paint. Now we noticed that on the driver side the white scuff marks are back worse than even and the door is feeling quite wobbly. I am going to contact our selling dealership again but I am concerned because I do not feel that there is a proper fix for this issue. I will update once we find out what new "fix" will be attempted on this.
