Grand Caravan 3.3L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 32,933 miles

We had front and rear rotors and pads all replaced twice. The first time was in February 2012 at about 25000 km. The second time is today at 53000 km. It costs us $971.80. We were told that all front and rear pads were cracked due to the overheating. The Dodge dealer's mechanic showed us the pads and rotors. I can believe the parts last only for two year???!!! I had a 2000 Dodge Caravan and I did not have to replace the rotors and pads till 73000 km. I really doubt the quality of the parts.

Grand Caravan SXT 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

This Grand Caravan started shaking or vibrating when the brakes were applied, especially going down grade. It actually started around 20000 miles, but not really bad. Around 45000 miles it gets worse. I replaced the pads and helped some, but still vibrates, especially down hill. the rotors evidently need replacement.
