Well since i bought this van about five months ago i have had to really keep a watch on the oil levels and antifreeze use. I bought it with 34,000 miles and it now has 38,000 miles. In these for thousand miles its used five quarts of oil. Its had two factory oil changes also. Every time i pull the dipstick stick around 2,000 miles i feel sick. This van drinks oil. I have also put about a full jug of antifreeze during this period of time. I'm not happy at all with the quality of the engine. The dealership just took it in to see about fixing it we will see how it turns out. Feels weird having to work on the motor of a vehicle with less than two years of use and less than forty thousand miles. Seems like Dodge needs to get on top of this issue. Most people just drive and drive without checking their oil level. My guess is a lot more of these vans are burning oil and running around with little to no oil in the engine. Do your self a favor and pull that dipstick and check it before you have to spend a lot of money to fix the motor.
