The headlight flashes 1-3 times when you turn the switch then it turns off and stays off.
This happened on my way home just before I had to get on the interstate. I had to drive using the hazard lights. Not safe to drive when you are the only car on the road at night and you can only see the road every other second or two. I replaced both headlights and it fixed the problem. At least when I tested it but later that night it did the same thing. I went to the store and picked up a fuse tester. I tested each fuse numerous times and all was good. I took the van to Tires Plus and they said the problem was the headlight switch. They replaced it the next morning and it fixed the problem. But when they were backing it out the lights went off and stayed off. I then took the van to the Dealership and they told me it is the totally integrated power module (TIPM). The part is 855 and to install it and the part is 1,199 plus taxes. I don't have the money at this time. I am waiting for a credit check to see if I can get a card to pay for this. Will find out tomorrow hopefully.
I found this website about a defective TIPM and it has my model/year van is apart of a class action lawsuit but there is no recall for my van. - http://www.chryslerproblems.com/trends/tipm/
The link is good but I do not have the money for repairs just before the holidays. If I am not approved then I will have to drive the van with the problems in the day time. It doesn't help that the time rolled back 2 weeks ago so its gets dark at 5:30pm. I have to make arrangements to get off work early because I normally work till 6:00pm. This is a real safety hazard and the van is the family vehicle. I have 2 little girls, 4yr and 2yr so I do not really need this problem. My wife just got a night job (6pm-5am) working at Amazon. She can not use the van to go to work because of this problem. My other car is a 2005 Impala but it has some issues with it so I don't really like for my wife to use it but she has to now. I may have to turn off some services for a few months just so I can get extra cash for this repair. Please Help anyone!!!

While driving in heavy rain I noticed while in line to pick up my sons prescription in the pharmacy drive thru, my headlights flickered then turned off. When I got home and turned car off and back on again the headlights would not come back on. I brought to shop right away to find out it's a bad TIPM. It's a pricey repair with a 30 day back order. This is our family car and I have 3 young kids. There is no recall and no way to fix it fast. Recently my airbags light came on. This is safety issue. I have a van with no headlights and probably no airbags and can't get fixed for at least 30 days. Please this is a huge issue.
