Grand Caravan SE 3.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles

All sorts of annoying cracking sounds when turning the wheel. Brought it to 4 different Dodge Dealers. Been told that the power steering tank was almost empty, when I asked where the leak was, I've been told that it evaporated! Finally found a good dealer and turns out the rack and pinion was leaking and needed to be replaced.

So this problem took me 6 different visits to Dodge Dealers before it was fixed. What kind of 3 year old cars rack and pinion breaks down? Oh. I should mention I NEVER did off roading with the van, I've been tempted to do the Rubicon Trail but never got the time...
