The contact owns a 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that the rearview backup camera would not display a bright illumination on the navigational screen during the day and night. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where they stated that the vehicle was functioning as designed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 17.
