I have a Dodge 2012 Grand Caravan with 11,500 MILES. JUST PAST 3 YEARS and the ABS and traction control lights are on. This is TOTAL BS. I had the same happen to a 2009 Grand Caravan and Dodge doesn't want to know! Clearly they don't want to solve these problems but at least the 09 lasted till 35k. DON'T BUY A DODGE EVER!!!!!!

I purchased a 2012 Dodge Caravan in 2012, I am having several issues with van and I thought it would help others out by listing them all, what I have experienced, and how to fix the issue. This is issue number 3. I came out one day and stared up the van and I started to drive, about a half hour into driving the ding went off, so I looked down to see the Trac light came on, I was not sure at first if it was important so I continued to drive and, I noticed that it was going on then going off. This was confusing and a real pain in the ass so I looked in the manual to find out what this meant and did what it said to do, but it got to the point were it was staying on and I had to play a game to see who was faster me or the computer as if the light came on first I could not put into drive or reverse. Again I went to a few different places and when I arrived the light would not go on, it made me look like a fool. I went to get the van fixed as there were several issues with the van and when they did a Diagnostic and found out what they needed to do. They had to remove and replace components as required to access and install materials, and or preform needed services, adjustments as required. Additional fluids may be required to complete this service. Retest and verify repair as required. Perform final road test where applicable, Shift interlock not working properly. Replace the Pedal Switch. This did fix this issue and I was extremely happy as their was one less frustration. This should not have to be replaced so soon, especially on a vehicle that does not travel far.
