Grand Caravan SE 3.2L

Back in October 2012 I purchased the Dodge Caravan, This was my first vehicle that I purchased myself and pretty much brand new to me. I was excited to drive it off the lot. I had 1330 kilo on the van when I purchased it, I think or it may be less, or more but not much more. I woke up the next day and went out to start the van to go to the bank and the van started making this squealing noise on the drivers side.

I took this back to were I purchased it and I was told that it was normal as they all were doing it on his lot. I laughed and said ya ok, so I then took it to a mechanics in which he could not figure out, as it did not last long enough for them to figure it out, yes they had several different ideas on what it could be, but it was none of them. He then told me to give it a few months and then if it gets louder or still there come back in which I did.

I ended up going to about 5 different mechanics and then I went to Menzies and a Dodge dealership and none of them could figure out what this was. Years go by and it is getting louder and not only happening in the winter months, it was starting to happen every time I started the van. Menzies and Dodge both reported this issue but it was never figured out until I just recently when I took the van in for an overhaul. I was told that the noise was the front right and left Caliper(s) were peeling and needed to be replaced this was not cheep I tell you, but I did fix it and I believe that this should of been covered under warranty as this was happening right from purchase.

It was obvious that this should be a recall to all 2012 as the dealer were I purchased mine had several on is lot and they were all doing it. I am not sure how this happened but come on dodge step up to the plate and declare it a recall to look at.
