Grand Caravan 30th Anniversary

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

Rear air stopped working during the hot summer in AZ. It was the motor, had to have it replaced. Took the Van in for additional issues and found out that it was more then the motor.

Grand Caravan Blacktop Package 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 18,300 miles

This vehicle was purchased in July 2014 and as of July 2015, the REAR Air Conditioning unit has stopped working. This is the second time that the air conditioning has failed in three months. First, it was the passenger side air conditioning unit that failed. The dealer repaired it under warranty with no cost to me. I've had the van back approximately 6 weeks and now the rear unit is not working.

Grand Caravan SE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50 miles

Bought 2014 Grand Caravan SE brand new with 7 miles on it only to discover the next day that AC is blowing hot.Went back to dealership next day, drove 120 miles both direction but the closed service earlier.Went back tomorrow to the dealership again 120 miles drive they charged AC and found no leak.

Couple days pass, shifter started making clicking noise when put in gear.Driving again 120 miles for them to check.Shifter needs replacement.Parts ordered.Couple days pass noticed loud hissing noise when AC is on.Compressor belt makes noise every time the clutch compressor kicks in. Compressor turns on-off-on in 13 seconds. Doesn't blow as cold but they can tell because outside is also cold.Again 120 miles drive for them not being able to hear what I hear because outside is not hot enough.

Today Oct.4th 2014 I'm back at the dealership to replace shifter and again 120 miles of drive. This time I took a service person for a ride and was told that all that noise is not supposed to be heard.AC is on bit the fan is of I turned it off not to blow and grinding noise starts. I asked the general manager who is going to compensate me for my time, miles I put on my vehicle which is 700 for now and my time only to get a laugh in my face and when its time for oil change come see me I will give you one oil change free. Seriously, I bought it on Sep. 18 on Sep 19th I asked them to give me another car but they declined. I will complain to corporate office.
