Grand Caravan RT 3.6L

  • CVT transmission
  • 109,000 miles

My ac quit working, so I paid to have it recharged, and mechanic said there was a leak and it was going to cost to find leak. I have 3 kids, who has money for that?

I buy something and expect it to work.

Grand Caravan SLT 6 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 13,386 miles

So, I scrape together the money to purchase a NEW vehicle so I don't have to spend anymore time at the mechanics making excuses to my boss as to why I am not at work. Hoping I have at least 2-3 years of basic maintenance like oil changes and tires. NOOOOOO, not the case with DODGE. Who thinks to look under their brand new vehicle for oil spots. Who knows how long it was leaking before we discovered the nasty oils stains in my brand new (not even 2 months old) driveway. If I ever buy another new vehicle, it won't be a Dodge. My old GMC ran better.

Grand Caravan

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,000 miles

OK, so I was at the dealership service department having my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, with just over 100,000 miles, being worked on when a salesman inquired about my visit there. This time it was for a faulty gear shifter line. This piece of crap van already had to have its transmission replaced at 90,000 miles and was only was 4 years old..Since we were not the original owners it was not covered under the power train warranty

So $3000+ later I was once again having to have something repaired out of pocket. The van has been nothing but headaches and I believe already have had to have 4 or 5 recalls repaired. Needless to say I will NEVER be buying a Dodge product again ...Famous last words...I walked / drove out with a New 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan that would be under warranty and hopefully no problems for awhile.. 2000 miles later I noticed pools of fluid on my driveway underneath it. Took it to the dealership and low and behold there is a leak at the oil cooler ..Luckily it is covered under warranty but left wondering what is next????
