problem #2

Dec 282018

Grand Caravan

  • Automatic transmission
  • 59,480 miles

Check engine light went at the end of 2018 and when we had the error code checked by Dodge, they indicated it was caused by a cylinder 2 misfiring and low engine compression. Since only 2011-2013 are covered under the TSB and not 2014, we were not able to have it fixed.

Since then, the car consistently stutters in drive and has died once whilst driving (thankfully there was no accident).

Grand Caravan RT 3.6L

  • CVT transmission
  • 105,000 miles

This is a common problem with the left head on 3.6 engines. Dodge replaced heads on 2013 and prior 3.6 engines. I need mine fixed, lost 3 miles per gallon milage, shakes, engine light on can not remote start, shuts off after 30 seconds. Spent 300 to change plugs and test coil, no change in function, took it back apart and pressure tested cylinders, number 2 at 85...

I need my van fixed, no resale value, thousands to change head, dodge needs to fix my van.
