No mention at time of sale that there was no spare tire included. I am 60 years old and never bought a new vehicle with no spare tire. You would think they would tell a single woman there is no spare tire and at least offer it as an extra.I believe they do it on purpose because they know the customer would be upset. What car dealer would not include spare with a brand new vehicle? This was the 2nd vehicle that I had bought from Larry Miller Avondale Dodge. I won't be buying another car from them. If they would have just verbally disclosed this and offered to sell me one, I would be ok, but I had to discover it on my own. Larry Miller Dodge, I will never step foot in one of your dealerships again and I have been telling all I know of your bad sales tricks and ethics.

hi, my name is Amanda I bought a 20014 dodge carvan from jeff Wyler. Im very unhappy because I got a flat tire this past weekend and when I went to change it their was no spare tire on the van. I don't understand why. I was told by jeff Wyler dodge service department that you all don't put them on the new vecheils anymore and to me that is very frustrating because what if I was on the side of the road and my tire blew out I guess I would be screwed until someone came to help me...but we leave and learn i guess.. i wil not be purchasing another dodge from anywhere again...
thanks Amanda

When you buy a new vehicle, you are supposed to feel safe and confident that said vehicle will give you at least a few years of heart-ache free use. After a blow-out on the side of the highway during Boston AM commute, I THEN realized my vehicle did not come with a spare tire. I have been working on cars since I was a kid, driving cars for over 20 years, never have I come across a NEW vehicle that did not come with a spare. I was not even informed by dealer that it was not there or that it did not come with one. I specifically told salesman that I was using this vehicle for family trips from Boston to Fla. Um.. hello.. at what point would you say, "hey, this vehicle does not come with a spare tire, its an option you can purchase." I would have been more than happy to have purchased one at the time of purchase, but they were too busy trying to sell me GAP insurance, paint protection, interior protection, extended warranties... So I had the vehicle towed to the dealership, only find out they did not have a spare in stock or even the tire size I needed. I then had to have it towed again to a tire shop where I had all the tires replaced. This is such an unsafe "option" that the dealership conveniently offers. Shame on any salesperson who fails to inform anyone of this.
