The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated upon exiting the vehicle, the driver-side rear sliding door would not unlock and open. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with the door actuator needing to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.
