The TIPM on my car went haywire and caused my starter to fail and caused the car to shake and smoke. the car no longer started and Chrysler has a known TIPM problem with their cars and refuses to fix the issue I bough a brand new car with 12 miles on it. With 71 miles on it I had to have car towed to dealership. Which they then tried to charge me for the tow of car because the car would not start and was put on flat bed with a winch they said the winch to put car on flat bed was not covered under their towing policy and it would be $81.00 to cover the cost. I have now been without the car for 2 days and instead of just replacing a brand new car with a different car so my family would feel safe they said once we replace these parts it will never happen again.

Mini van would not start at 32000 miles. Had it towed to the dealer. It sat outside and the next day it started. No codes so, no fix. Dealer kept it to see if it would happen again. It kept starting. Called customer service at Dodge for a loaner. She would not even call the dealer to see what she could do. Have extended warranty. No loaner as it was not being repaired. Dodge has a criteria work sheet for loaners and this was under factory warranty. No help at all. Shifting rough. DO NOT BUY
