Passenger side headrest popped out on its own without being in wreck or damaged. Looks like plastic clips are faulty and worn.

These headrests deploy without warning due to a design flaw. The plastic that houses the pin breaks under the normal stress of the spring causing the headrest to fail. Replacement is $1100. There is no fix.
