Intrepid ES 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 168,000 miles

Cannot determine for sure if it is the transmission or the engine. It stutters or chatters at about 2000 rpm. Then it will be fine for awhile. No one seems to be able to find out what it is. Afraid to take it very far. Anybody had this problem. Would like suggestions.
