I started feeling a pulse in the brakes pedal at just over 20,000 miles. I felt it must be a defective rotor so I contacted the dealer and the Dodge national hotline. They made me bring in the car for inspection, where for $24 they proceeded to tell me after 5 minutes that I have warped and pitted brake rotors. They will not cover them under the 3 year 36K warranty. Instead they tell me that this is normal wear and they want $275 to replace the rotors. I checked the NHTSA site and found 4 out of 36 other complaints were about the same pulsing rotors. I wrote letters to Dodge to no avail. I refuse to pay them to put the same oem junk parts on the car. Bendix or raybesto do not yet sell rotors for this new of a car. The brake system is not 100% safe and I feel that the dealership and Dodge are giving me the run around. What do you suggest I do?

I am not very happy with these problems. Why do I have to keep my horns wrapped in plastic for a year. They say they are redesigning the horns but none have come out yet. When my warranty is out I will be out too. I am writing the manufactor. Today about this problem. It stinks!! also I do not understand how my rotors could be warped. The pads are still in good shape. They only wanted to turn the rotors. I do not trust these guys. I am getting a second opinion wed. Oct. 27 about the rotors. I can see from your site that the drivers side window has given trouble to other owners. I just got the car back again Thursday and the window that they had to remove to put in the new motor is still not set right. When I call them back it willbe my 4th try. Also the theft alarm they fixed this Oct 21, thurs. Was just rigged. I am taking it back and show them the poor work quality. The trunk hangs while opening because they wrapped a mound of tape around the so called break in the wiring. Who is out here to help put these guys in their place. I pay big money for a nice car and I am plagued with problems. They won't like me for sending this info in. But I am mad now. I am tired of taking the car in for repeated repairs. Any insight or info you could give me would be appreciated. I am looking to sell but that will be my last resort, because I will lose money. Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Sincerely, paula T harris
