I wish i would never have bought this pile of sh!t. I have recently been having problems with my 1999 dodge intrepid, don't get me wrong it rides nice, has a huge trunk, and plenty of leg room, but it has been having problems lately. for some time now it doesn't want to shift into 2nd or 3rd when the RPM's are at 3 to 4 it still does nothing, Crazy thing is sometimes it works just fine. Others it starts this crap again. Then today on my way home the damn thing died out... sounded like it wanted to start back up but as it turned over it just sputtered out so i had it towed home and i am still trying to fix the problem but am not sure i can fix it myself. I thought it might be the fuel pump but i can hear it come on when i turn the key... maybe it is the sensor or a fuse or maybe i should just have it sent to the crusher. Now that i am having problems with it i noticed some have tried changing the cam sensor, to tell you the truth i am no mechanic, and for as much as they sell cars for these days they should cover it all labor and everything, but that's just not gonna happen. so i guess I will have to pay so ass hole to look at it tell me they fixed the problem and be back in the shop in a week to tell them they didn't fix a damn thing .... cuz thats usually how it goes then by the time it's working you have at least 1500 stuck into parts you didn't need to replace.

3 weeks after purchasing this car. It started stalling out while driving. I took it to a place and they said that my # 1,3,5,2 was misfiring and so I changed them my self. After putting the new coil caps and spark plugs in it still stalled out while driving. I almost got hit not once but three times by another vehicle due to this problem. I am really frustrated by this and think that it might be time to just haul it off or sell it . I am taking it to the Chrysler place and have them put it on their machine and see what it might be. I personal think that if it cant be fixed junk it.
