I had about 89,000 miles on my 1999 Dodge Intrepid when the reverse quit working. i wasn't hot rodding, mud-bogging(who would mud bog in an Intrepid), or doing anything to harm the transmission. I was leaving a friends house one evening and the damn car wouldn't go anywhere in reverse. It would go into gear, but the damn hub went out and all the car would do was accelerate. What a pain in the ass. It cost me 2,200.00 and it wasn't worth it in the end.
