For the last few months I noticed what appeared to be, that the windows on my car were opened a bit and the whistling of air. I found that the weatherstripping on all 4 doors had shrunk back, causing this annoying sound.

In addition to that, on the passenger side weatherstripping, both front and back, the interior part of the said weatherstripping, has a plastic molding to trim the interior, that had the covering peeled back.

Now the dealer said that it is obviously a defect but my warranty expired 2 months ago and that I should call Chrysler direct to see if they ok it.

So I called Chrysler and found out that they want me to pay to have this fixed. They did offer a discount, but my beef is that I already spent $30,000 for a brand new loaded vehicle. I find out when I bring it to the dealer that there is a defect in something that Chrysler used and they want me to pay to have them fix it. I work hard to pay for the damn thing because I had to finance it.

Chrysler said that if it was 2 months ago it would have been covered by my 3 year warranty. (I do have a 7 year extended coverage but it is not covered under that either)

So in other words, hahahahaha, I did not notice it in time, screw the customer, pay pay pay to have it fixed.
