Rear main oil seal has been a problem in Dodge Intrepids since 1994. This is the second one I've owned, the other a 3.5L V6 1997 Sport. Big job as you have to remove the engine and/or transmission to get to the rear seal. Adding oil repeatedly and cardboard to catch spills is cheaper, but NOT a fix.
