Was driving a rented vehicle & sun was shinning through windshield & side view mirror. Looked like some type of film across it. Made driving difficult. Used washer to clear & clean windshield, but it was not cleared. Sunlight hit particles & bounced off. Was difficult to determine what was ahead on road.
