: the contact stated while traveling various speeds, the rear brake lights remained illuminated. The dealer was contacted, who determined that the brake light switch could be the defective component. The vehicle was not inspected. The contact planned to file a complaint with the manufacturer after filing a complaint with the NHTSA.
