I have kept up on the maintenance schedule. Took the family car on a road trip in winter to find out the heat only worked on the driver's side. $115.00 just to troubleshoot. Best I understood, there is a module in the firewall that the heater coil and A/C connects to. Inside this module are a series of flaps. Since we have dual climate control I assume this only applies those like mine. The tech tried to reprogram the module via computer but it was sending back erroneous messages hence unable to calibrate the flaps inside. Had to order parts and reschedule for maintenance. Took it back and they had to tear apart the dash to get to the module in the firewall, then disconnect the A/C lines and coolant so I got to pay to recharge the A/C and refill coolant as well as all the labor. 1460 bucks later I rode home in a next to new car with working heat on both sides.
