I prefer not to play mainstream music for my children if at all possible. I like to play CDs for them when they are in the car with me. I can't do this if the system isn't playing CD's or if it plays them for a few minutes, then stops and say disc error for ALL the CDs. Also, when I travel, I hit dead spots where I have no satellite service. No phone or radio. It would be nice to be able to play CDs.
