This car has been one headache after another - I constantly deal with the rotors and brakes, and then had to deal with a crack in the coolant tank. The entire thing had to be replaced. Luckily, my husband is a handy-dandy mechanic and fixed it for the price of the parts only. Still. Bah humbug!

It happens every time the car overheats, the tank expands and cracks... Third time!
Update from Aug 9, 2015: I have now replaced the tank 5 times $67 a pop. Dodge needs to do something about this...

So, driving back from school, I notice my temp needle is climbing up the plastic mountain to high temp. When I park at home, I notice a rusty colored fluid leaking from the passenger side front part of the engine and a hissing sound. Lo and behold, a cracked tank!

We bought this vehicle used last Jan and 7 months later the coolant tank cracked and the vehicle overheated. It cost about $200 to get repaired and the part was on back order so it took forever to get it. 7 mos later the darn thing broke AGAIN (just last week)! My husband just came in and told me the tank is leaking AGAIN! We just got the car back 3 days ago! ! !

Coolant tank leaking out the side. Unable to repair due to it being pressurized. Had to replace the entire tank. Cost me $75. Seems to be quite common with this vehicle.
