The rear end is going out fuel system is causing a misfire number six and the airbag light is on we have had more problems with it with the power steering starting it when it's cold and it rupturing the hose plus the wiring and the door front door there's wires broke supposedly fixed in 2011 but are broke again every recall if you type in 09 Dodge journey is what's going wrong with mine right now but there's supposedly no recall on

I have power door locks not working except manually or driver door by key. Key fob and door module for locks will not function. I cannot open the hatch due to power lock function. The Airbag light comes on when vehicle is started and the door is open and only disappears after the door is closed, engine shut off then restarted. Also the engine light came on for awhile then off and is now back on. This is what code scan report says. Engine and Transmission are P0420 Catalyst Efficiency (Bank1), OBDll Codes ($03) is Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1. The Airbag is U0172 Lost Commuication w/Left Side Satellite Accelerator Sensor 1- Stored. The Door Module- Front Right (DMFR) is B16A5 Passenger Window Switch Backlighting Circuit High-Stored. Not sure exactly what these all mean but I think the Power Locks are a safety issue along with the Airbags. The power locks don't lock after driving it like they used to after driving so many feet.

The gear will not shift unless I press the release button. After I took it for a recall in Route 18 Dodge dealer East Brunswick NJ, it came back without been able to shift. I asked the mechanic why my car is no moving, they said you have to press the release button and shift gears at the same. I told them I didn-??t bring my car in like this. After I spoke to -??Mike-?? the manager, he said it was a matter of time. I-??m scare for my life when driving because now is making all these sounds on the transmission.

Reporting common problems of 2009 Dodge Journey 2.0crd 103kw 1.a car started shutting off whenever it drives, running in parking lot, stopped at red light. 2.battery fails suddenly, without any warning, jumping cables can't help, because a car just making a cranking noise under a hood. 3. wheel airbag is having short circuits, so due to it sometimes lights a warning in dashboard. 4. steering wheel relay shows misunderstood degrees of wheel angle, so it comes to esp bas error.

The impact caused the vehicle to become airborne and was thrown to the opposite side of the freeway. The contact stated that the air bags failed to deploy causing her head to snap back and forth. There was no warning lights illuminated. The contact sustained leg, broken ribs, neck and head injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard and deemed a total loss. The dealer was not called. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 126,000.

The contact stated that shortly after the vehicle was repaired, it became difficult to start the vehicle. The contact stated that to start the vehicle, the ignition was placed in the on position and the starter was tapped to start the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to baxter Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram bellevue (7713 S 19 th St, bellevue, ne 68147, (402) 800-1256) to be diagnosed. The mechanic was unable to provide a cause for the failure. The contact stated that three months after the recall repair, while driving at 70 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was towed to the same dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the totally integrated power module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 111,000. The VIN was not included.

There was a recall on the airbags & airbag module.. they supposedly replaced.. the electrical wire is now messed up bc the airbag light keeps coming on & off, the drivers side front door control lock to lock the car will not work, now engine light comes on & off and the transmission was replaced, all new components, driving the car on Jan 4th 2020 & the engine just stops on me at traffic light.. this car has had nothing but problems after problems from the 1st day I bought it from the sales agent that lied to me about everything.. there are recalls on my car that still never got replaced.. I am the new owner of this 2009 Dodge Journey SXT on (2/16/2018).. I was told I'm the 2nd owner, I am the 4th owner and was lied about if this car was in a accident.. it was in a accident to do with the transmission stopping and the ppl that had this car B4 me the report says it was side swiped passenger side on (10/18/2017).. found out more about the car I bought was in a major flood so someone didn't tell the truth & I was sold a car that has water damage & they covered it up and I been complaining since I bought this car... something isn't right with this car & I got ripped off, this car the transmission stopped on me and I almost got in a bad car accident.. I've had a mechanic at a Dodge dealership tell me & my dad I was sold a car that has water damage etc... I am having problems with the airbag light on & off and this was a recall and should be redone, the engine light is faulty and the steering wheel and electrical still, along with the fob ignition switch..

All of the buttons stopped working in the driver's side door, along with the two back doors. The windows, locks, etc do not work because of this. The airbag light keeps turning off and on. Now all of the wiring is acting like it is messed up. The brake lights keep coming on, the car randomly won't start, the overhead light comes on when the right blinker is used. Now the car won't shift out of park 8/10 tries. The car also acts like it loses power randomly while driving in town. These problems have been listed as recalls, yet my car is not on the list.

Left driver door wiring issue causes both front power window controls on driver side not to function when statiinary & driving. Intermittent dash warning lights flash & windshield wipers activate without driver initiation while driving. Airbag & seat belt dash warning light comes on intermittently while driving. First the light turn on of the air bag (movement). In other night when I turn on the alarm it's start to activate on panic mode then I turn off the alarm wait for a various minutes and activate again (off), but in less than a minute start to be in panic mode. In other day (movement), says that was an open door and the locks start to put it many times, any of the doors wasn't open (movement). In the same day at night it's start to turn on/turn off the inside lights, put the locks, and the message of a door it's was open (movement). The alarm was on panic mode twice and the light's was againg turn on/turn off (off). The batterie, every time that I try to turn on the vehicule I need a booster to charge it again. The mechanics says that the alternator and the batterie are in good conditions has the voltage that needs to be operating. I put a new batterie but the problem persist. And turn on the light of other thing on the panel.

When a certain light appears it causes my brake lights to go out. I have been pullover multiple times and almost in accidents because of this. I have children. I have replaced multiple bulbs for nothing. This car has been an safety hazard. I worked sooooooo hard to pay off I should be able to have a safe reliable vechile. I am a cna I have clients that I need to Transport and I cant which is causing me to be broke because I cant work. If you have a heart please please help me and my family.
