At first approach the door handle is used to open front passenger door. Climb in then shut when seated comfortably. Only to have the door bounce open randomly, not all the time. So reach for outside handle to pull as if opening, retrieve arm and try shutting door again. Success. Also at any given time one tries to open door from inside using interior handle surprisingly malfunctions trapping occupant. Now if it does work then it may not slam shut as one would walk away exiting. It could fly open like a wounded bird with a wing dangling. So then the vehicle has to be parked on the spot so the door can be manipulated shut before continuing on its way. A mechanic says oh just keep it lubricated. Enough of the BS. Nothing works. The mechanism has fatigued it looks like prematurely and should be changed (ah not by my expense).
