I have 2010 Dodge Journey, the horn started honking even while driving. Took it to the dealership, because they were all booked up, they pulled the horn fuse and said they would call when they could get us in. In the meantime...The battery went dead, jump started it. Drove it a few days, went dead again,. when jumped off the second time the odometer on the instrument cluster went to 0. Yes, it wiped out the mileage. Besides it telling me that I needed washer fluid even when it was full. It is now at the dealership and they want $1900.00 to fix it. That includes a TIPM module, battery and instument cluster. I have a case file with Dodge. I want my vehicle fixed.....and Dodge needs to pay for it. So I am without a car, while they jerk me around. I may have to join the lawsuit against Dodge to get it fixed.

My husband and I both own Dodge products. I have the Journey and he has the Ram 1500; both have had significant electrical issues. He has lost power a number of times. Mine has been ongoing for years. Have owned this vehicle for three years and I would say for two years I have been having trouble with it.
At any given time, the ac, windshield wipers, locks, windows, turn signals, radio all shut down... not sure if there is other things shutting down such as air bag etc. but to say the least it is a hassle... have to pull over and restart which sometimes works and other times it does not.... can go off and on as I am driving. In Kansas weather gets hot and when traveling down interstate and the ac and windows shut down it can be extremely hot.... This should be fixed asap and I can guarantee you that my husband and I both have said well never by another Dodge vehicle... or Chrysler!!! Buyers beware, especially since they won't take care of the problems and then you are stuck.

I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle. Including brake issues. And now at 80,000 miles my fuel gauge doesn't work, brake light is coming on, and back up camera and radio video screen don't work intermittently. I have been told I have to replace the TIPM module. The dealer has never replaced one, doesn't even know how to open it. I will never buy a Chrysler product again and will make sure I tell everyone not to buy one also.

2 trips and $700.00 later we STILL don't have a fix for our Journey's electrical problem. Suddenly the bells go off, the wipers start working, signal lights don't work, radio stops working, heat may or may not work, etc....anything electrical goes nuts! First trip and $ 200.00, the discontected the video system. Did NOTHING! Today they replaced the automatic starting system and all was well for about 20 minutes and it started again. Can anyone tell us what is wrong and how to fix it?

For unknown reasons my wipers, turn signal, radio, and heat/Air will just go off. The only ways it comes back on is if I turn off the engine. I took it in when I thought it was just the air and the radio, and they could not find anything wrong, and now I know the wipers are affected which makes it a potentially dangerous problem. It occurs so randomly that I can't predict when it will happen and only occurs about once a month.
