My 2010 Dodge Journey is burning a lot of oil. 2 plus quarts between oil changes. The pipes are black but it does not smoke.

burning 1.5 quart of oil every 750 miles at 48k i bought this vehicle with 20k on it. ihave used only mobile 1 synthetic oil changed every 4000 miles mobile 93 octane gas an maintained this vehicle in showroom condition. after jan 2015 oil change and service an 2000 miles i began to hear valve clatter at irregular intervals. a little later when i would turn left or right the sound of an engine warning light would be heard but no light came on.2 days later this sound with no light whenever i touched the brake pedal i took car to service when oil was drained there were only about 2 qts. in the engine i had been driving 200 mile trips @ 80mph in very harsh winter trying to get Chrysler to replace engine after having 3 dealer ships tell me they are not aware of any issues with these engines Chrysler stonewalls you with dead end contacts. my diagnosis is complete loss of compression on #5 cylinders seized carboned piston rings. 10 days later car is reassembled dealer starts vehichle crank shaft sounds like shaking your silverware drawer . the car never made a sound before repair. they are now removing the engine to replace the crankshaft but not correcting the mistake their techs made in 1st repair causing noise in lower end. the cost of a remanufactured l engine from Dodge to me would be 3543.00 labor to have it replaced 3200.00
instead of standing behind their warranty with a new rebuilt engine @ a total cost of 6743.00 Chrysler has chosen to spend 42 hrsl shop labor @ 100.00 per hr plus the cost of new heads piston rings and gaskets ectl on the 1st repair
now they have another 32 hrs, shop labor @ 100.00 plus all crankshaft parts a combined cost of at least 10000 and all of this for a patch job to get this car out of warranty in November
they have not followed necessary procedure to remove debris from damaged shaft and metal parts from the oil ports and inside motor this engine wont run long i am forced to take this pos straight away from dealership and trade up for another 6 yrs. of car payments because Chrysler would not tell me untill after tearing my vehicle apart that they will not replace any engine unless it is seized up . bail these pieces of sh*t out again so they can shove it to you thei last message was you need a starter @ 60000 WHY? i IF YOU HAVE THIS ISSUE WITH THIS 3.5 CHRYSLER ENGINE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HOPING THEY WILL DO THE RIGHT THING THEY WONT IN WARRANTY ENGINE MUST BE SEIZED OR TRADE IT BACK TO THEMM FOR A NON CHRYSLER USED CAR
WHEN I GET RID OF THI POS I AM GOING TO POST VIN#
