sometimes signal lights do not flash

I have a Dodge Journey 2010 with very few kilometers on it and I bought it new in the fall of 2009. I have had several problems with it, the latest being with the signal lights. Iam 73 years old and it is the first car I have had so many problems with. My son had the same vehicle and he had to trade it . I also had engine light problems and sensor problems.
