So I have another problem with my journey that started in March 2018, not exactly sure what day, can't recall off hand. But it started randomly revving way too high when only going 60 km and it wouldn't switch to the next gear. If I was to go any faster, it revved up to 4,000 RPM and not switch gears. I drove it straight to a mechanic as I was panicking. They couldn't figure it out because when I had turned it off and they started it, it didn't happen to them. They kept it from a fri afternoon to Mon afternoon and claimed to try it a few times and it always switched gears as it should and did not rev too high.

So instead, they said I had a low battery and they replaced that. It didn't do nothing, my battery was fine I believe...

Anyway, so it randomly revs too high and won't switch gears, or not... Once I start it and drive it a bit, I will know if it is going to rev too high and not switch gears. If it does, my friend told me to pull over, turn it off, push the accelerator half way to the floor twice and then start it again. I did that and it stopped revving too high, it would properly switch to the next gear as it should. So that is now my trick, but it is always a pain in the butt when it starts revving too high and won't switch gears!!! Grrr.... this Journey is a lemon, but I keep it because it is paid off and I have put in so much money I had to give up!!!
