The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Journey. While driving at any speed, the ABS indicator illuminated and the cruise control failed to operate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the control module for the ABS system needed to be replaced. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The contact was referred to NHTSA. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000.
