The problema in Jan. 2014 was in a parking lot. As I started touch the accelerator pedal and didn't advance, depressed a touch more and all the suddenly speed up excessively which make me rear end the car in front, with costly insurance repairs. Several times happen send then with various rate of acceleration which gave me time to stop without causing trouble. The large majority is on going forward, however once or twice happens on reverse (backing up). Yesterday (July 21/2016) happened again in a parking lot, with damage to the front end against a curb on a flower bed, where the radiator and a front bumper was badly damaged. When I was parking the car was about 2 feet from the curb, so I started and depressed the gas pedal a touch and didn't move, depressed a little more and the excessive acceleration occur again without time to react to stop before hit the curb. I should mention that this never happened to this degree in drive on the road. Also should be said that I am an experienced driver for 48 years, during two or three decades driving over 60,000 miles a year without ever having an accident. To me something is definitely wrong on the control system either electrical or mechanical. Also I noticed often that the acceleration on highway or road driving is rough on changing speed. I am really concerned for myself and passengers safety in this vehicle. In 2014 I complain to the Chrysler dealer I was told they claim that they check and found nothing wrong?
