Journey SE 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 111,785 miles

I can be driving and the AC/heater will just turn on by itself. I will turned it off and it will come right back on, this cycle will continue for at least 7 to 8 times. Then I can drive a mile or two and it will do it again and the cycle will continue. IT IS FREAKING ANNOYING FOR THIS TO BE HAPPENING. I have never had an issue like this with any other vehicle that I have had.

Can someone please proved a solution for this problem?

Journey ST 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,000 miles

A/C chooses to come on all by itself. Took it to the dealership and they replaced the main control module for the radio as the time was messing up also. That was July 2014. It started doing the same thing again in late February 2015. A new event occurred on 5/1/15 when I was driving, the radio turned itself down three separate times.

Journey SXT

  • CVT transmission
  • 9,363 miles

While driving, the HVAC is off and just comes on completely by itself. Turn it back off and a few minutes later it will come back on again. The climate sync, un-syncs all the time as well. We have taken it to the dealership and they give it back to us saying they were unable to recreate the problem. Leave the dealership and 5 miles down the road the HVAC kicks on.... WTF ever....
