As the Plastic Shield snapped in two it punctured the Radiator and Air Conditioning Unit. We had to wait 24 hours in 3 lakes WI. to get the radiator, which allowed us to return Home in Bellevue, NE.

The dealership has ordered a new air conditioner part. Aside from being expensive and dangerous ( we were very lucky to have this happen in Town) I was at an intersection. I was maybe going 10 MPH when I went over the snow plow bump. Anybody who lives in a state where it snows will know you drive over these bumps all winter.

In short, this shield should a recalled item. And I should be reimbursed. Incidentally. We paid for the repairs out of pocket. I have never seen this happen with any vehicle. The Mechanic who replaced the Radiator stated in 30 years he had never seen that type of damage.
