Once again from 2007 to 2015 I have had to replace the god darn front end 3 times!!!! It's in the shop right now for the same thing, AGAIN!

I am amazed by all the various opinions each shop has on this "Magnum Thump". In hindsight, I believe the suspension wasn't revised to accommodate the 5.7 engine. Are there any truly qualified front end people out there?

I have taken excellent care of this car from day one. Someone ran a red light and I T-boned him. The front clip was replaced and some suspension pieces. After the repairs I noticed a thumping noise similar to a broken motor mount. This caused a Sh2t storm with my insurance company. They claimed the parts that are causing noise is preexisting condition. Which was the sway bar links. So, I had them replaced for $250, and that didn't stop the thump. Everyone is using all the data on the internet as an excuse, ( The Dodge Thump)
Then I took the car to another company and they say it's the struts, for $700. I am disappointed in the insurance company for not making my car whole, 21st. Century, and all the techs that can't troubleshoot. Overall, the engineers and bean counters at Chrysler screwed up and dodged the bullet by under designing what should have been a great car.

This car is a DOG! ,At 44k miles water pump went . It was covered under warranty but was lenghty fix as front of engine had to be removed. Then at 53k the car was clunking over small bumps , even cracks in road were felt. and steerring was real bad. Turns out it needed lower ball joints and steering rack.

Not much to say, except this will be my last Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep product. I have never owned a car that required as much expensive maintenance as this car. New tie rod ends, new tension struts, new sway bars, 3 sets of front brakes and rotors in 40,000 miles, engine ticks (although full synthetic oil seems to have that under control), bad rear hatch struts, peeling wheel covers, hesitating acceleration, and on and on and on ... what a piece of junk. I had my 2003 Pontiac Grand Am for 145,000 and never had 1/8th of the problems I have had with this car.

My car has 67985 miles on it, I took it to the dealrship today for routine service and was called a few hours later to be informed that I need new tie rods again!!! I just had them replaced in the past 2 years!!! WTF!!!! I thought that I had noticed an intermittent clunking noise while driving but thought it may have just been the bad road conditions here. This is completely ridiculous - I have owned my share of vehicles some had over 100,000 miles on it and never needed a tie rod. I average about 13,000 miles per year on my car so I've gone through 1 set of tie rods in about 20,000 miles????? Someone please tell me that they are having similar problems and that Dodge will fix it for the life of my car!!!!!!

My car sounded like the top of the car was literally going to come off of the tires when I rode over small bump or any bump. I took it to the dealer and they said it was my bushings and tire rods, (234.00). Even though I got a good deal on the repair my problem still wasn't fixed. I went back the same day and complained about the problem again. Then I was told it was my control arms, (283.00).

The suspension problems never went away. Replaced upper and lower components on driver and passenger side costing thousands of $'s over 7 years and car front suspension was never ever right.
