Neon

The back up lights started having issues at 10K which were never fully resolved before I sold the car at 90K.

Dealership tried to fix no less than 6 or 7 times. Replacing fuses, sensors on/in the transmission, bulbs, wiring. You name it. The back up lights never worked for more than a couple of weeks, if that much.

Diagnosis? no idea. I would say "Electrical Gremlins."

Lights were the least of my worries with this thing though. It blew the head gasket three times and the fuel pump died at 12K.
